Off property choose to hit the links at one of the area golf courses, enjoy a meal at their clubhouse, or take a 15-minute walk and visit the local chill and grill for its fast food-style menu and sweet treats for dessert.
Jackson County offers many seasonal attractions including MIS (Michigan International Speedway), the Jackson Hot Air Jubilee, the Jackson and Hillsdale County Fairs, and provides an opportunity to hunt for treasure along the US-12 Heritage Trail during Michigan’s Longest Garage Sale. Other local attractions include numerous wineries and craft breweries, as well as antique stores, historical sites, Cell Block 7 prison tour, Hidden Lake Gardens, and The Cascades illuminated and choreographed manmade waterfall.
